RELEASE of LIABILITY
As a Christian group, we seek to follow the biblical mandate which disallows bringing charges against Christian brothers in civil courts. We want to be sure that all members understand our position prior to any mishap. ENOCH is a loosely organized "community club" which does not have a dues structure, and therefore, no assets. Co-ordinators of various events and programs have volunteered their time to organize activities for the group. Participation in any event is strictly voluntary; no one is ever required to attend any meeting or event. Neither the group nor individuals are liable for any injuries or damages, whether connected with a group event or not.

At every event, parents are responsible for their own children. No child should ever attend a function without the parent, or an adult who is responsible for that child. We strongly encourage that such a transfer of responsibility be designated in writing, and communicated to the person in charge of the event. We further suggest that such a designated substitute be familiar enough with the child so as to be able to maintain proper discipline.

Any special guests (grandparerrts, relatives, friends, etc.) who accompany members to any event are under the sole responsibility of that member for behavior, damages, injuries, etc.
It is expected that any member or his child or guest who damages property or who causes injury, either willfully or through neglect, will take personal responsibility for his actions. However, our group will not be involved in any way in such situations. Any person who has such a claim will be directed to discuss the offense directly with the party he believes to be responsible, person to person. The outcome of such a problem is out of the realm of this group's responsibilities or resources. If such disputes cannot be handled by the parties individually, we will expect that they will follow the guidelines of Matthew 18 through their own churches and church leadership.

We suggest that you always have medical info and authorization for care handy, in the event of injury to any child who is in your care.

I have read this release and agree to hold ENOCH and all parties associated with this group blameless in the event of any damages or injuries to me, to my children, to my guests, and/or to my property.
